When I met Angie, I should have known that she would plan a wedding that would be vibrant, because she was always so animated when we talked. What you see below is a palate of bright colors perfect for a summer evening wedding.
The flowers were done by Green Dahlia of Middletown. The centerpieces were a mixture of roses, orchids, ranunculus, stock, and irish bells. Instead of using table numbers, Angie and Greg named their tables after special places, memorable to their lives.
After arriving from the church ceremony at St Mary’s church in Newington, Greg and Angie and their photographer, Michelle Carpenter, headed out to the vista for pictures. It was a beautiful June evening perfect for taking pictures on the grounds.
The caterer, Aqua Turf, created a Sangria Bar for the guests at the couple’s request.
All their family and friends gathered on the patio for their first dance.
The color of the flowers, ribbons, and embellishments on the cake continue the color theme.
After dinner when the sun had set, the building and patio were light in vibrant hues of purple and amber to create a magical atmosphere for dancing.
And dance they did!
